In the recently released trailer of his upcoming 60 Minutes chat with Anderson Cooper, Prince Harry made it very clear that he doesn’t envision a situation in which he would return to his former position within the Royal Family.
Prince Harry Rules Out A Return To The Royal Family
Cooper posed the inquiry to Harry, who swiftly responded with a ‘no.’ Harry’s forthcoming chat with Cooper will be his first U.S. TV interview to talk about Spare, his much-awaited autobiography which is slated to be released on Tuesday, 10th January 2022.
Harry’s interaction with Cooper is one of the two interviews he conducted for the purpose of promoting the book. In order to promote Spare in the UK, the Duke of Sussex conducted an interview with Tom Bradby. This is the same person who interviewed Harry and Meghan Markle for the documentary, ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’ in the year 2019.
In both interviews, the video footage reveals Harry speaking about his and Meghan’s determination to withdraw from being part of the Royal Family in an official capacity, his opinion that staying quiet is equivalent to betrayal, and his views on reconciling with his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William.
The response on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people made it clear that they did not want to see Harry make a return to the firm. Therefore, if he fails to rebrand himself as being independent from the firm, then things could look bleak in the future.
One person wrote: “The question is: Who the hell wants you there???” Meanwhile, others were of the view that the only way for the firm to heal things would be to have Harry back in some capacity.
Another person stated: “I hope they come back together. Communication is needed.” We will have to see how this will all play out moving forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
