A royal commentator has likened Prince Harry to the well-known ski jumper Eddie Edwards due to his divisive reputation among the public, leading to him being ridiculed.

Prince Harry ‘Risks Having Rotten Tomatoes Thrown At Him,’ Says Nigel Cawthorne

According to reports, if he decides to attend King Charles III’s coronation, there are concerns that he may be met with hostility from Brits who are upset about his treatment of his family, with some even threatening to throw tomatoes at him.

The monarch is facing increasing pressure regarding the outcome of the significant occasion. There is a lot of scrutiny on Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as the monarch’s disgraced brother Prince Andrew.

While the Sussexes are expected to attend, as well as Andrew, the invitation for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex only includes them and does not extend to their two young children. Nigel Cawthorne, who happens to be a royal excerpt, had this to say: “How unpopular does he want to be? Every time he opens his mouth he plummets in the opinion polls.

“He’s the royal family’s Eddie the Eagle. If he turns up, he risks having rotten tomatoes throw[n] at him. If he stays away, he’s turning his back on royal.” This is understandable in light of the previous response to Harry and Meghan when they attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

During the course of that process, they were booed when they finished the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral. And given that there is a chance of being booed again, Harry and Meghan will have to weigh up whether they feel an attendance is worth doing. This is especially since Archie’s birthday happens to be on the same day as the coronation.

Ultimately, the couple have to do what is best for them. And that is precisely the view that the firm will be taking when it comes to their own position. So there you have it folks.
