Prince Harry May Give Up His Royal Title-‘He’s Way Above The Useless Royal Family’
That is according to Royal expert Neil Sean. This claim should be read in light of the reception that Harry had received upon his return to the UK with Meghan Markle during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
During the course of that process, it was clear that Harry was no longer a mainstay member of the family. Harry and Meghan were not shown on the palace balcony, while they also received a chorus of boos during their exit at the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St Paul’s Cathedral.
But the biggest kick in the teeth was reports that the monarch had banned them from taking pictures during her private meeting with Lilibet. With that being said, Harry is seriously considering whether it is worth holding onto that title anymore.
In his comments, Neil said: “Prince Harry think[s] that perhaps it may be a good idea to relinquish the titles that so many people are going on about.” If these comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons.
First of all, it could set a precedent where other members of the Royal family decide to unilaterally give up their Royal titles should they become dissatisfied with the way that the institution operates.
And if Harry does end up going ahead with this, then it is only natural that Meghan could follow suit. Secondly, it would put an end to any prospects of a reconciliation as this move could only be interpreted as Harry distancing himself from the Royal family altogether.
And yet, it is important to remember that Harry will always be connected to the Royals. Neil added: “He knows that they could never take away the title Prince Harry that’s his birthright.” The response on social media was mixed.
A certain subset of people were of the view that Harry was better off without the Royals, while others felt this was the last thing connecting him with the Royals. One person wrote: “He won’t, it’s the only thing he’s got.
