Prince Harry will not be able to win over the American public following the publication of his memoir, Spare.
Prince Harry Is Finished In America-‘He Will Never Redeem Himself,’ Says Behavior Expert Dr. Lillian Glass
That is according to behavior expert Dr. Lillian Glass. This claim arrives on the back end of the poor approval ratings Harry has received in response to his memoir. The Duke of Sussex did not hold back in attacking members of the firm.
This was especially seen when he accused his brother, Prince William, of assaulting him. But for all of Harry’s frank admissions, this did not resonate with the American public.
A poll carried out amongst US citizens stated that 38 percent of people did not like Harry, in comparison to previous polls which was only 31 percent. The minus 7 difference shows how far his standing has fallen.
In addition, another poll last December showed that his popularity had dropped by 45 points. Meanwhile, a more recent poll stated that 44 percent of people did not agree with him disclosing so many intimate parts of his life. With that being said, Glass did not see things getting any better.
In her comments, she said: “He will never redeem himself in American society. He can never come back. He’s not an expert. He has nothing to offer. So we don’t care. He may make a lecture here and there but nobody cares. Nobody’s going to take him with any seriousness.”
If those comments are taken to be true, then it is very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it will hamper the Sussexes’ attempts to rebrand themselves away from the firm. Secondly, if their popularity has declined in the US and in the UK, then there are serious question marks over where they go next.
As such, perhaps a reconciliation with the firm would prevent that decline in popularity. But so far, the Sussexes have shown they are unwilling to do that. So there you have it folks.
