Prince Harry declared that he would not create a follow-up to his highly successful autobiography “Spare” – however, sources have confirmed that there is a possibility he might draft an extra chapter for the paperback edition of the book.
Prince Harry Could Add Another Chapter To Spare-‘South Park Has Material For A Sequel’
It is clear that the Duke of Sussex has an abundance of content for the book. He has said that the first draft of his book was 800 pages long but that it was decreased to around 400. Harry has suggested that he would not release a sequel out of respect for his brother, Prince William, and father, King Charles III.
In his comments at the time, Harry remarked: “I just don’t want the world to know… Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.” While that may have been the case, the book has become a record-breaking success as the fastest-selling nonfiction book ever. With that being said, there could be plenty more to come from Harry.
A source confirmed the following: “Prince Harry is already planning to add at least one new chapter… to the paperback version… out later this year or early next, when the hardcover sales have ended.” This naturally begs the question: why did Harry not release it in the first book?
Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could be due to the following reasons. First of all, it could be another way for him to get more book sales. Secondly, there is also a chance that Harry may have a change of heart. Regardless of what the case may be, the response on social media was not very positive towards this claim.
This was on the grounds that further disclosures could be used against the Duke of Sussex in a negative manner. One person wrote: “Get that book out with the new chapters so South Park has material for a sequel.”
