
Recent polling indicates that the popularity of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has decreased even more among the British people due to their recent undertakings.
Harry And Meghan’s Popularity Falls Following Latest Poll
In Britain, Redfield & Wilton strategists conducted a poll on March 1st, 2023, that revealed a significant decrease in Harry’s net approval rating, which dropped by 37 points since November and now stands at -22.
Meghan’s approval rating also has decreased by 31 points, resulting in a negative rating of -33. This decline in popularity for Meghan and her husband Harry has been observed in recent polls conducted among the American public. Specifically, Harry’s rating has decreased by 48 points and Meghan’s by 40 points since December of the previous year.
According to a study conducted on February 19th by Redfield & Wilton, 42% of Americans have a negative opinion of Harry, while only 32% have a positive one. Meghan’s popularity rating was lower than that of her husband. Only 27% of Americans expressed their fondness towards her, while 44% of them disliked her, resulting in a negative approval rating of -17.
The approval ratings of some other members of the Royal Family have also worsened. Prince Andrew’s net approval rating has dropped by 22 points since November and is now at -53. Similarly, Queen Consort Camilla’s approval rating has decreased by 24 points since the release of Harry’s memoir and docuseries, and now stands at +1.
In addition, Kate Middleton’s popularity has decreased by 11 points and she now has a rating of +52, while Prince William’s rating has dropped by 12 points, leaving him at +49. King Charles III, who saw a rise in the polls after becoming king following Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022, currently has a net approval rating of +27, a decrease of 19 points since November.
