Netflix, the streaming platform, will debut Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s docuseries in December.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Netflix Docuseries Will Air In December
The project, which was directed by Oscar-nominated Liz Garbus, will aim to give an intimate look at the Sussexes’ lives, which the public may not be aware of. And as part of that process, the timing of it will be crucial. It will arrive on the back end of Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast airing and reaching its conclusion.
Not only that, but it acts as a segway for Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare, that is set to drop in the New Year. With that being said, this is what fans can expect. In some prior comments about the documentary, Meghan remarked: “It’s interesting. My husband has never worked in this industry before.
“For me, having worked on Suits, it’s so amazing to be around so much creative energy and to see how people work together and share their own points of view. That’s been really fun.”
Some of the footage we can expect will include the Invictus Games, as the Netflix crew were present there. In addition, there is also a possibility the fans will be given an opportunity to see Archie and Lilibet.
After all, the couple have shielded their children away from the media spotlight. And yet, this could be an opportunity to show them to the public on their own terms. The fans on social media were very hostile towards this project. A significant proportion of the fanbase made it absolutely clear that they did not want to tune in.
And in the process of doing so, people felt that this was a PR move in order to improve their reputation. One person wrote: “NOT INTERESTED IN RATS OR THEIR LYING GARBAGE.”
Time will tell how the docuseries performs, but based on what we have seen so far, there is not a lot of enthusiasm for it. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
