British Royal Family News says that while this year has certainly brought on a lot of difficulties and challenges because of the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus, it looks like it has been a rather good year for others.
Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been holed up in their $14 million dollar Montecito, Calif. home for months now, their net worth has just risen to a cool $10 billion dollars. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Net Worth Could Possibly Hit $10 Billion
According to Newsweek, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are soon going to be known as the “$10 billion dollar royal couple” thanks to their multi-year deals with Netflix and Spotify.
As many royal fans already know, the Sussexes’ deal with Netflix is said to be worth up to $150 million. Harry and Meghan just announced this week that they will making podcasts for Spotify through their production company, Archewell Audio.
If all of the above weren’t enough, it’s also been noted that Meghan has invested this week in Clever Blends, an instant oat milk latte, which she recently gifted to Oprah Winfrey in a clever social media video. While opening her gift, Oprah looked quite surprised and happy with the lattes.
She had actually even demonstrated how to make one of the company’s oat milk and turmeric drinks. Oprah captioned her post with, “On the first day of Christmas my neighbor ‘M’ sent to me… A basket of deliciousness!” She added, not so subtly, “Yes that M” — alongside a crown emoji.
Professor Johnathan Shalit, founder of U.K.-based InterTalent Rights Group told Newsweek that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are setting themselves up to become the richest couple in the royal family.
He said: “My guess is they’ll be the $10 billion royal couple. I’ll tell you why, the way you become multi-billionaires is you get involved before the shares explode. Lots of startups and companies are going to want Meghan and Harry attached to their product so that in turn will create other investors and other shareholders.”
So far neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle have made any comments about their investments or their net work for that matter.
