Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have come out and refuted claims that she “brainwashed” Harry. Tom Bower, who wrote the controversial book, “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors,” which blew the lid off Meghan, is back with his new book, “Betrayal: Power, Deceit, and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family.”
Prince William Warned Prince Harry that Meghan Was Manipulating Him
Apparently, Queen Camilla suggested to a friend that Meghan “brainwashed” the clueless Prince, according to extracts from the biography.
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan released a statement about the critically acclaimed royal author, Tom Bower, “This is a person who has publicly stated, ‘the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life.”
They continued, “He has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met.”
They added, “Those interested in facts will look elsewhere – those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him.”
Prince William had apparently warned Harry that Meghan was manipulating him, and in response, Harry rebuffed him. William was desperately trying to help his brother, but Harry took it as a threat.
Harry’s brother knew that the Duke of Sussex had struggled after the death of their beloved mother, Princess Diana. Harry had issues with addiction and was weak and vulnerable to Meghan’s spell.
William was worried that Harry’s relationship with Harry had moved too quickly, but Harry wouldn’t listen to those closest to him when it came to Meghan.
William and Kate Suspected Meghan Wasn’t Meant for Life In the Royal Family
Allegedly, during a teatime meeting between Harry and William, Meghan snapped at William and told him, “If you don’t mind, get your finger out of my face.”
William and Kate Middleton believed that Meghan wasn’t meant for life in the royal family. They suspected that Meghan’s ambition would ultimately lead to Harry’s downfall.
Harry had been a very valued presence in the monarchy, but Meghan soon realized she would never make the amount of money she wanted. Harry’s role within the Firm, which is determined by succession, was limited.
Meghan coerced Harry into leaving Britain and abandoning his royal duties. She pushed him into something he never wanted when they moved to California. To please Meghan, Harry changed his phone number without telling his family.
The formerly fun-loving Prince had become intent on seeking revenge against his own family. Meghan has a very large-scale ambition, but she refuses to face the facts.
The Duchess of Sussex is delusional in her self-important beliefs. She’s greedy and tends not to listen to anyone’s advice.
Harry and Meghan Use Their Titles to Make Money
The couple shamelessly monetize their status as members of the royal family and use their names for commercial gain. The late Queen told them that monetizing the royal family was a serious no-no. They went against the Queen’s wishes for the sake of making money.
One example is Meghan’s brand, As Ever. It’s an epic failure because Meghan isn’t willing to do the hard work to make it a success.
Another example is Harry and Meghan’s upcoming trip to Australia, where Meghan is set to hold a meet-and-greet and charge people thousands of dollars to meet and take a picture with her.
Harry is using the trip to speak about mental health, his go-to charitable cause. Meghan and Harry also had the opportunity to create projects through their 100-million-dollar Netflix deal.
Sadly, they produced nothing but flops after their initial debut hit docuseries, “Harry and Meghan.” They sorely lack the creativity and direction needed to succeed.
The Invictus Games Have Become “The Meghan Show”
Bower also touched upon the Invictus Games, which he claimed had become “The Meghan Show,” as the Duchess would hang all over Harry and capitalize on her status as Prince Harry’s wife.
The Invictus Games began as a passion project of Harry’s in September 2014 to support disabled, wounded, and injured veterans. It was an inspiring and worthwhile charity event in which veterans competed in sports and games.
Now, Meghan has turned it into a shameless PR grab. Because of the Duchess, the media has all but ignored the event’s true purpose: helping veterans.
Bower points out that the Invictus Games are supposed to be “A bond between the Nation and the armed forces.”
Harry and Meghan had Katy Perry perform at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada. The focus wasn’t where it should have been: on the veterans.
With King Charles removing Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s title as Prince, Harry now fears for his own future in the royal family.
When Prince William becomes King, he will have no issue with removing Harry and Meghan’s titles. Harry has appeared dissatisfied with his life in Montecito, California, and wants to return to the royal family.
However, if by the time William takes the throne, Harry is still married to Meghan, he will have no chance of reclaiming the former life that he loved.
