Mixing up with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars is not the first thing you would expect Harry and Meghan to have done.
And yet, in the aftermath of their move to the United States, it has been clear that they have been attempting to cross over into the celebrity world.
Their interview with Oprah Winfrey, coupled with Meghan’s appearance on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres’ show was testament to that fact.
And given that the latest Spiderman film entitled, ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ has broken box office records, the couple may have benefited from increasing their brand by meeting the stars of the movie.
But by the looks of it, the Spider-Man stars were a bit shocked to say the least. A source said: “Tom and Zendaya were rather bemused, from what I hear.
“Tom had never met Harry or spoken to him in his life, so didn’t know what they wanted.” It is not clear why Harry and Meghan would want to meet them, but outside of an alternative explanation, it could be boiled down to the following reasons.
First of all, Harry and Meghan have come under increasing scrutiny in response to their $100 Million Netflix deal which has failed to result in any content being published.
But by teaming up with Hollywood royalty, it could take off some of the heat that they are getting. Secondly, in any event, there is also the slight possibility that the couple are very huge fans of the Spider-Man franchise.
It is true to say that this is unlikely by virtue of the fact that it is hard to see former members of Royalty being occupied with such things, but it is still a possibility nonetheless.
As of now, the only thing that has been established is that the meeting had occurred. Sources confirmed as much: “The meeting took place.”
Regardless of what was discussed, the very fact of the matter is that Harry and Meghan may have just secured themselves the support of some influential people. So there you have it folks.
