Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, has revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle knew their accusations of racism against the Royal Family would have had a damning impact.

The couple, for their part, made the shocking disclosure as they stated that someone in the Royal Family had reservations about Archie’s skin colour. While that may have been the case, neither of them went so far as to state which person was responsible for this.
And ever since that moment, relations with the firm have never been the same. This has been on the basis that their claims have been challenged, with Piers Morgan making it very clear that they should have called out the person responsible.
And yet, speaking out against such an institution did take a lot of courage. And this is something that Kerry recognised.
In her comments, she said: “They went to the oldest institution in UK history and told them what they were doing wrong, that they couldn’t have structural racism within the institution.
“That they could not maintain a misunderstanding about mental health.” That did have a severe cost, as the firm has made it clear that the couple are not a part of their plans.
In his first speech to the nation, King Charles III made declared that he wished the couple the best with their lives overseas.
And this distance may explain why Harry has decided to go ahead with his upcoming tell-all memoir in order to get his own side of the story across. But in the process of doing so, the Sussexes recognised that this came with consequences.
Kerry’s following comments confirmed as much: “[They] knew that if they did this there would be consequences, that they would be ostracised, they would lose their family, their position within this structure.”
