It seems like a lot of people out there sure are hate watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s docuseries on Netflix. A lot of people seem to believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are lying about their Montecito mansion. Here’s what you need to know.
According to TMZ, the mansion that Harry and Meghan filmed in for their docuseries is not their real home. And while a lot of people don’t film in the same home that they actually like in (unless you are a reality television star), the British press seems to be running with the idea that Harry and Meghan are lying to the public again.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Caught In Another Lie Over Their Mansion?
Some media outlets in the UK are making it seem like Harry and Meghan filmed in a mansion that was much nicer than the one they actually live in just so they could deceive the public again.
Yet, TMZ did their research and said that all of the clams being made by the press across the pond are nothing more than BS. Instead, they say, “Here’s the reality … productions such as these are often shot at a different location, because it isn’t important — it’s literally just background scenery that’s secondary to the subjects. It’s SOP to do this, and if Meg and Harry did, in fact, do so here … it’s not a big deal at all.”
But that’s not the only lie that Harry and Meghan are being caught in. They also implied that Meghan’s niece Ashleigh Hale could not be invited to their royal wedding back in 2018. That’s because it would have looked bad to invite Meghan’s niece, but not her half-sister, Samantha Markle, who happens to be Ashleigh’s mother.
During the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, the duchess said, “They just couldn’t wrap their head around it and I have compassion for it. How do we explain that this half-sister isn’t invited to the wedding, but that the half-sister’s daughter is? And so, with Ashleigh, the guidance at the time was to not have her come to our wedding. I called her and I had her on speakerphone and we talked her through what guidance we were being given and why this assessment was made and . . . that’s painful.”
However, one source at Kensington Palace said, “It’s a complete lie. Meghan said she didn’t want her exposed to the media.”
