Piers Morgan referred to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as “little wastrels” due to the ongoing drama surrounding the royal family.

Morgan’s opinion on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after their extensive media coverage in the past year is well-known.
The ongoing discussion surrounding Meghan and Harry’s distant relationship with the Royal Family and their potential attendance at King Charles III’s coronation on May 6th is still developing and being talked about.
While reporter Geraldo Rivera was not too damning towards the couple, the same could not be said of Morgan.
In his comments to Rivera, he said: “Eventually, I will get you to confess on Piers Morgan Uncensored that you finally turn and actually (say) ‘Piers you were right, they’re a pair of little wastrels who want their royal cake eaten.”
Morgan also criticized Harry and Meghan’s reaction to the King’s invitation for coronation, which happened last week. The couple confirmed that they were invited, but they did not disclose their decision to attend at the moment.
According to him, Harry and Meghan’s “jaw-dropping” behavior showed a complete lack of self-awareness.
After all, given that it is an attempt by the firm to give an olive branch, Morgan could not understand why the pair would not reveal their inventions openly.
He added: “They’ve been invited to the new monarch of Britain’s coronation, and they’ll go back to them with an answer when they’ve thought about it.
“Is there any wonder that their popularity is plummeting on both sides of the Atlantic.” While that may be the case, it is important to bear in mind the following points.
First of all, Archie’s birthday happens to be on the same day as the coronation. Therefore, it is not simply a case of just attending.
Secondly, as the couple were booed during their last engagement at the Service of Thanksgiving during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, they may be more apprehensive over attending.
The response on social media was not in favor of Morgan. Large numbers of people were of the view that he had developed a vendetta against the couple, which was now bordering on an obsession.
One person wrote: “I detest this schuck. This is the type that makes UK tabloids trash. So Meghan turned him down, suck it up. Too bad, so sad.”
