In the event that Virginia Roberts mentions allegations of sexual assault in her upcoming autobiography, Prince Andrew is prepared to file a $100 million suit against her.
Prince Andrew Ready To Sue Virginia Roberts If She Continues Her Claims-‘Andrew And His Lawyers Are Ready To Go On The Attack’
Roberts asserted that she was compelled to engage in sexual relations with the Prince when she was 17, having been illegally transported by Jeffrey Epstein, who was found guilty of sexual offences against children.
In the agreement that was reached, Andrew accepted no culpability and still vehemently denies any wrongdoing. It has been reported that he gave her £12 million, but those close to the situation have stated the amount was nearer to £3 million.
Sources near to the Prince have also expressed that he will be aggressive in his response if Roberts repeats her accusations. He has already sought advice from US lawyers to try and overturn the agreement he established with Roberts last year over an out-of-court settlement.
A source confirmed the following: “The minute she writes anything that repeats the original claims against him she will be hit with a $100 million (£81 million) defamation lawsuit. Andrew and his lawyers are ready to go on the attack.”
This claim also arrives on the back end of Ghislaine Maxwell’s tell-all interview in which she made it clear that the infamous photo showing Andrew with his hand around Virginia’s waist was a doctored one. And this taken with Andrew’s potential legal claim will attempt to showcase Roberts in a discredited way.
In her comments with TALK TV, Maxwell remarked: “It’s a fake. I don’t believe it’s real for a second, in fact I’m sure it’s not. Well, there’s never been an original and further there’s no photograph, and I’ve only ever seen a photocopy of it.”
