It is no secret that Andrew is facing a lot of scrutiny of late, given that the Jeffrey Epstein scandal has led to calls for those who were associated with any wrongdoing alongside him to be held accountable.
And given that Andrew was pictured with Epstein, coupled with the fact that he admitted he was his friend who had visited his house, it is understandable that Andrew’s name has been tarnished.
And yet, on a practical level, removing Andrew’s title is going to be difficult for the following reasons. First of all, he is Queen Elizabeth II’s son. Therefore, this could damage relations permanently as there would be no way of going back from this for either of them.
Secondly, in any event, given that Meghan Markle did not have her Royal title removed despite speaking out against the Royals, it is hard to see Andrew being punished. After all, both figures did not exactly cover the Royal family in glory.
But for some, enough is enough, as Andrew has had his time. One source said: “Even if Andrew is completely exonerated from any wrongdoing he is now regarded as toxic. It is expected he will do the decent thing and resign.”
If Andrew does end up resigning, then it is easy to see why. Further reports indicate that military personnel have also been left embarrassed and shocked by the claims that are being directed towards him. This is especially true since Andrew is a father too.
That is why the end may be near. The source stated: “Some senior officers claim Andrew’s reputation is now so badly damaged by the sex abuse allegations.
“And his friendship with Epstein and Maxwell that he could never again attend a military ceremony.” Ultimately, Andrew’s future hangs in the balance.
And unless some conclusive evidence comes forward to suggest that he is innocent, things are not looking very good for him. So there you have it folks. What do you think?
