A PR expert has come out and given her take on the future of Kanye West’s music career in the aftermath of his cancellation from the Grammys.

Things could end up going from bad to worse after a petition went viral in which fans demanded that the rapper be canceled from performing at Coachella 2022. While the petition has received the requisite number of signatures in order to make that happen, the very fact of the matter is that the organisers have yet to respond.

After all, it would take a brave person to take on Kanye. And yet, Kanye has nobody to blame but himself. He has hardly covered himself in glory, as shown by his social media conduct.

Aside from his continual attacks on Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, the rapper took things a step further when he directed a racial slur towards talk show host Trevor Noah.

This arrived on the back end of the latter being very critical of Kanye’s treatment towards Kim. Subsequently, Kanye was given a 24-hour ban from Instagram as a result.

With so much having taken place, Kanye will need to navigate things carefully going forward. Kelcey Kintner, who happens to be the President of Red Banyan PR, had this to say: “Kanye can recover from the current backlash.

“But to avoid becoming too toxic and a PR liability, he must rein in his erratic and concerning behavior, own up to his mistakes, apologize to all those involved and then lie low for a bit before stepping back into the spotlight.

In reality, the chances of Kanye backtracking his comments are slim. First of all, by doing this, he would have to acknowledge that he made mistakes. And given the nature of his personality, this is not something that the rapper often does.

Secondly, in any event, by coming forward with an apology, he would inadvertently have to acknowledge that Pete Davidson is now a part of his children’s lives, by virtue of the comedian’s association with Kim. And this is something that he is clearly not fond of.
