Pink has shockingly revealed how her first girlfriend had dumped her for none other than her brother.

The musician, for her part, is currently hooked up with Carey Hart. While they have had struggles during their marriage, they have managed to stay strong ever since they came across each other in 2001. And yet, her first romantic encounter has left her with some sour memories. During an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she said: “[I had] My first girlfriend, [when] I was 13.
“She left me for my brother. I was very confused by that because she kissed me first, and that’s gross.” Those comments were fascinating as they go on to highlight the speculation surrounding Pink’s sexuality. The singer has remained tightlipped over giving herself a specific label and has chosen to concentrate on what makes her happy.
This is understandable given she is in the entertainment industry, where there is ever-increasing scrutiny on her private life. In a prior interview with The Guardian, Pink stated: “Leave it alone. I just wanna live my life. I don’t need you to put me in a box or to figure me out or to figure out what I am. Cause I don’t know yet.”
This may also explain why the couple have had many difficulties in their relationship. During the course of their romance, they have split up on numerous occasions only to then reconcile. This has ultimately benefited the children, as Pink has been vocal about her kid’s taking after their father. The latter is a motorcycle enthusiast, and they may end up following in his footsteps.
But just as instability can ruin a relationship, it looks as though it has kept Pink and Carey together. In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Carey said: “You know, when we started [our relationship], we were just two dumb kids full of piss and vinegar. And we’ve slowly stood the test of time.”
Pink seems to be in a much better place now, and this can be a good thing for the rest of the family. Let us hope that they can continue to operate in the same manner.
