Pink’s most recent album Trustfall achieved a second-place spot on the Billboard charts, but the artist expressed her frustration that the record is being overshadowed by the controversy between her and Christina Aguilera that happened two decades ago while they were shooting the Lady Marmalade music video.
Pink Outraged After Her Feud With Christina Aguilera Overshadowed Her Album-‘Dodging The Bulls**t’
A dispute started when Pink was questioned concerning rumors of a disagreement between her while the singer was publicizing her newest album. According to Pink, Christina was livid when she mistakenly occupied the seat of the singer, and the situation almost caused a stoppage of production; however, she quickly added that that was all in the past.
In her comments at the time, Pink said: “It probably happens every day in every workplace. People just don’t get along and then they figure it out and they realize what’s important and they hug it out and they move on.” As such, there were question marks over whether or not Pink and Christina were friends.
This is particularly since Christina did not address those comments, while Pink stated them publicly, knowing that there was a chance that she could face some backlash. And that has led to a point where her album has suffered. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Pink shared a picture of herself with her daughter.
They are posing to the camera, as they lean in together. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I’m so saddened and disappointed by the narrative surrounding some of the press I’ve been doing around my album Trustfall…Dodging the bulls**t that gets thrown.”
The social media response was very positive towards Pink. This was on the grounds that she was continuing to stand up for what she said regardless of what others may have had to say about it all. One person wrote: “This is why we all love you. Because you are who you are. Because of the way you answer people’s questions.”
