Comedian Pete Davidson has officially left ‘Saturday Night Live‘.

Pete Davidson Has Officially Left SNL-‘He Has To Be The Least Funny Comedian Ever’

The comedian had been on the show for around 8 years when he joined aged just 20 in 2014. But through the years, he built his fan base which has resulted in him now starring in movies too.

One of which includes ‘Meet Cute,’ with none other than Kaley Cuoco. But his career could now reach new heights partly due to his relationship with Kim Kardashian. The latter is one of the biggest reality TV stars in the world, which is ultimately something that he could benefit from by riding on the back of that success.

In any event, though, the writing was on the wall for Pete as shown by his previous comments. In an interview last year with the Hollywood Reporter, he hinted that perhaps it was time to walk away. He stated: “Yeah, I’m good. I’m surprised I made it to seven [seasons].”

Now that this has happened, there is a possibility that Pete could enter into the reality TV world. This has already been hinted at by Kim, who admitted that she would not be opposed to seeing Pete appear on ‘The Kardashians.’

While there is nothing concrete in that regard, who would have thought that Kanye West could have been on reality TV. And yet, he did, which does not rule out Pete’s chances. The fans on social media were glad to see the back end of Pete, though.

A certain subset of people were of the view that he was overrated as a comedian. And in the process of criticising his material, they were shocked that he had managed to make it on the show for so long.

One person wrote: “Seriously though. He has to be the least funny comedian ever on SNL, right? “Like 5 years and zero laughs.” So the only question remaining is who will replace Pete? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
