Paul McCartney showed that he is backing Johnny Depp all the way in his legal case against Amber Heard.
Paul McCartney Backs Johnny Depp In His Legal Case Against Amber Heard-‘Pure Class’
The two have been at loggerheads with accusations that Heard had defamed Depp, while the former has accused Johnny of being an abuser. But rather than staying diplomatic about the whole thing, Paul made his position very clear during his concert in Orlando, Camping World Stadium on Saturday, 28th May 2022.
In the pictures here, we can see that Paul is performing his hit single ‘My Valentine.’ And during the course of that process, a picture of Depp and Natalie Portman appears on the background screen. As the pictures appeared, it is reported that the whole stadium started cheering loudly.
Despite the apparent show of support, it is important to remember the following points. First of all, Paul did not expressly state that he supports Depp. Therefore, the picture cannot be taken to just mean that.
Secondly, both Depp and Natalie had starred in the music video for that very song. As such, the fact that Depp is currently involved in a trial, could have simply been coincidental on Paul’s part for showing the picture.
A source told TMZ as much: “There’ve been reports that Paul has actually been using this song and visual treatment throughout his tour this year … which just happened to coincide with the trial.”
The fans on social media, though, saw things much simpler than that. They felt that Paul knew exactly what he was doing by showing the pictures. And in the process of doing so, it was clear that he was backing Depp.
One person wrote: “@PaulMcCartney showing public support for Johnny Depp. Pure class how he did it too. If we thought Heather was psycho, Amber Turd is off the scale. #justiceforJohnnyDepp.”
