Paris Hilton Turned Down The Opportunity To DJ For President Joe Biden By Choosing To Attend Britney Spears’ Wedding-‘This Was More Important’
According to reports, Biden happened to be in Los Angeles as part of a ‘Summit of the Americas.’ This was an initiative designed to gather leaders from all around the world in order to focus on inclusivity. And as part of that process, Paris was contacted about attending.
But rather than going, she had other matters that were more pressing. In some comments on her ‘ “This Is Paris” podcast, she said: “I was actually asked to DJ for the President and all of the other presidents around the world for the dinner, but this was more important to me.”
This begs the question: what did Paris have planned? After all, not many people turn down the opportunity to be in the company of a United States President. And yet, Paris did have a valid reason. It turns out that the event was held on the same night as her friend Britney Spears’ wedding.
And as the duo go a long way back, she was hardly going to miss out on the opportunity to support her friend on the biggest moment of her life. With that being said, it was a no brainer.
She added: “And I’m not going to go into any details because it was the princess bride’s night and that’s her story to tell, but all I can say is that I’m so incredibly happy for her. She looked stunning and it just made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale.”
And by the looks of it, Paris did not have any regrets. In the picture, we can see Paris posing for a group photo at the wedding, which includes a whole host of other big names such as Madonna. They all look in a very good place, as Britney could not be any happier.
