Ozzy Osbourne is not a fan of rapper Kanye West as it turns out. The Black Sabbath singer took to social media to call out West. The “Iron Man” singer described West as an antisemite and that he would want nothing to do with the artist. Kanye asked permission to sample a live performance of “War Pig” and was refused.

Ozzy wrote, “@kanyewest asked permission to sample a sectction of a 1983 live performance of “war pig” from the us festival without vocals & was refused permission because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.

He went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night. I want no association with this man!”

This has created quite the stir on social media. While Kanye has in recent memory been ridiculed and hated on, he still has a devoted following and many who support his work and want to see him continue to succeed.

On the other hand, if he used music that he was not allowed to use, that is pretty blatant and should be called out. Whether or not Kanye is an antisemite is still up for debate as many have argued what was actually said.

West himself has apologized however, stating”I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outbursts caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”

The rapper continued, “I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future,” West continued. He added that being forgiven “is important to me” and that he is “committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

However, Ozzy has made it clear that he is not a fan. He will not stand by his music being sampled by the rapper. It should be noted that Osbourne has had his work sampled by rappers before. ‘Crazy Train’ was used by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz and Trick Daddy in their song “Let’s Go.”

What do you think? Is Kanye really an antisemite and do you wish that he could sample the song? Let us know in the comments below.
