Omid Scobie‘s “Endgame” publisher denies they are responsible for naming King Charles and Kate Middleton as “royal racists.”
The controversial author claimed that he sent the Dutch publisher an early copy of the book, which contained the names, but said he would send an updated version.
The Publisher of “Endgame” Says That Scobie is Lying
The book’s publisher claims this is basically bologna and untrue. A spokesperson for the publisher, Xander Uitgevers, explained,
“Omid Scobie’s explanation in his column in iNews about the Dutch editorial process of the Dutch edition of “Endgame” is factually incorrect, and we do not recognize ourselves in his representation of events.”
The source near the publisher cannot discuss the book’s contents. The book has been highly criticized as royal rubbish.
Scobie claimed that King Charles and Kate Middleton were the ones who allegedly made comments about the color of Archie’s skin when Meghan Markle was pregnant.
One of the translators said their names were in the text the publisher hired her to translate. It was definitely a purposeful act on Scobie’s end, as the early copies were said to be written at “lightning speed.”
Scobie has lied about as much as Meghan has, as she claims she had nothing to do with “Endgame” or gave Scobie any details to include in his book.
It is something we have all heard before. Meghan claimed she did not work on “Finding Freedom” with Scobie but later admitted to the High Court that she had.
Scobie also claims he spent two months ensuring the book was “legally watertight” before publication. Omid Scobie is just trying to transfer the liability to the publishing house to take the heat off him.
Scobie Says He Sent an Early Copy of “Endgame” to the Publisher
Scobie says that he submitted the text early to the Dutch publisher so they could begin work on the translation. They were supposedly informed that an updated copy would be submitted.
The new version of “Endgame” went on sale yesterday and doesn’t have the names. It is obvious that this was a plot on Scobie’s behalf to sell more books. It didn’t work, and now he’s under fire.
Scobie also asserts that the only publisher he worked with directly was located in the US and the UK. It’s interesting that the names only appeared in the Dutch version of the book. Scobie further accuses the royal family of “sweeping the issue of racism under the rug.”
In the book, Scobie explains that the two “royal racists” were named in a private letter between King Charles and Meghan Markle.
Harry and Meghan have not commented on the royal racist row, making them appear guilty. “Endgame” may also be a tool Meghan uses to gain publicity.
Just as Scobie is trying to achieve more book sales, Meghan is attempting to garner sympathy and interest.
The publisher of “Endgame” is apparently “horrified” about the potential damage the book has done. Scobie is “Meghan’s mouthpiece,” and his spinning tales of royal racism look all too convenient for the Sussexes.
