It’s official! Ariana Grande is single, as her divorce from Dalton Gomez Will Cost Her $1.25 million. Ariana had a prenup agreement in place. The luxury real estate agent will not receive spousal support.
The money will come to him upfront and tax-free. Gomez will also receive half the money from selling their house in Los Angeles. Ariana also covered Gomez’s lawyer fees.
The divorce was settled three weeks after Ariana filed on September 18. The same lawyer who helped Kevin Costner with his divorce came to Ariana and Dalton’s aid for this one.
Irreconcilable Differences
The divorce documents cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The date of separation was recorded as February 20, 2023. It took so long to file because they wanted to hash out the divorce details and determine the division of assets.
Both of them filed for divorce on the same day. A source said, “They’ve been caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process.” The source said that they were kind and patient with each other and were both ready to move on.
The former couple started dating in February 2020 when her team sought him to sell her property from his company’s listings. Ariana was looking for a vacation home, and her team set up a meeting with him. Dalton was eager to help.
Ariana was immediately smitten with Dalton, and they became close. Ariana and Dalton kept each other company during the pandemic, when everyone was on lockdown.
They would hang out with each other during quarantine, going back and forth between their two respective homes.
Dalton accompanied her to the 2020 Video Music Awards, where Ariana performed with Lady Gaga. Ariana revealed that she was dating Dalton in her “Stuck with U” music video with Justin Bieber.
They became engaged in December that year, and he surprised Ariana with the perfect ring. He wanted the setting to have an elegant pearl because pearls are exceptional and sentimental to Ariana. She was elated when she saw the finished piece.

The two of them got married in May 2021 in a small ceremony at Ariana’s Montecito home. It was a private ceremony with less than 20 guests. A source close to them said, “The room was so happy and filled with love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
Rumors of their impending split arose when she was seen attending a Wimbledon match in July of this year without her wedding ring.
Another source close to them reiterated that the two of them respect one another and want to remain friends moving forward. No infidelities were involved; the two of them just grew apart.
Ariana was recently seen on a Disneyland trip with her new beau, Ethan Slater, her Wicked co-star, who is divorcing his wife, Lilley Jay.
Ariana and Ethan are now living together. The two stressed that they didn’t begin dating until both separated from their spouses.
Grande and Gomez have yet to comment on their divorce. Grande did take to Instagram Friday to share photos of her adorable dogs.
