Following the news that Nick Cannon is expecting his 8th child with Bre Tiesi, this may be the last time that he becomes a father.
Nick Cannon Confirms That He Does Not Have The Desire To Have More Children-‘I Don’t Have The Bandwidth For It’
It is no secret that Nick’s personal life has been under increasing scrutiny by virtue of the numerous baby mamas that have been involved in his life.
And this news of an eighth child received the most amount of criticism, especially since his son, Zen, had only died at the back end of last year aged just 5-months, as a result of a brain tumor.
And at the time of his passing, Nick admitted that he was unsure whether he would have more children. Therefore, the very reason that he is having an 8th one raised a lot of eyebrows.
But now it seems that he is looking to draw a line under the sand and devote his time to the children he has, as well as making sure that the mother’s are in a good place.
During an appearance on the ‘The Language of Love’ podcast, Nick said: “I don’t have the bandwidth for it anymore.
“Because I feel like I do owe the women that are currently in my life, I owe them as much energy, time, and effort as I possibly [can] – especially my kids.”
Nevertheless, Nick’s critics argued that he does not take enough consideration into the consequences of entering into relationships with numerous women. This has raised claims that the children that he has may not have been planned.
After all, not many people would willingly decide to have children with many women on the basis that it could make co-parenting relationships very difficult.
However, Nick rejected claims that he was not planning on having children. He added: “So, in saying that, I would say that they’re all planned.”
As long as Nick is happy with the way that his life is going, then that is the most important thing. And if he can manage to keep things together in light of everything that he has been through, then more power to him.
