‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that today was a bit of a filler episode to get to that 12,000 mark. It was about 40 minutes of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) having a pity party and locking herself in a bathroom. However, it looks like there might be a bigger issue at hand.
One thing we did see today, was a handful of flashbacks and an interesting idea came up in the comments of a Y&R video on YouTube. The fact that when/if Abby or Chance or whoever has a flashback to Abby’s wedding, it won’t be the Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) we all know and love.

Justin Gaston, Ordway’s real-life husband has been filling in for Boaz after he had to quarantine himself for COVID-19. Unfortunately, this led to Gaston having to take over the role during one of the most important moments of the couple’s lives. Their marriage.
Now, we’ll all remember the time Abby and Chance got married, and while now we understand, in a few years we may have forgotten about it. It’ll be a confusing time in the history of the show, and a lot of things are going to seem off.
