Rumors Are Circulating Online About Kate Middleton
So far, there hasn’t been much word on Kate Middleton and her condition. We know she had abdominal surgery and is recovering at her home in Windsor.
Prince William cares for their three children, Princes George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte, and Princess Catherine will not return to her royal duties until after Easter.
There have been so many rumors circulating online about why Kate is absent from the public eye that it’s challenging to keep up. One rumor is that she had a Brazilian butt lift and is taking time to recover from plastic surgery.
Another one is that she got a bad haircut and is waiting for her hair to grow out before she can be seen in public again. An even more ridiculous rumor is that the Princess of Wales is being cloned.
Another more serious rumor is that she is in a coma. The palace shut down this one with fierce abandon, saying that the journalist who spread it did not do their due diligence and fact-checking.
Queen Elizabeth always said, “Never complain, never explain.” It perfectly describes the kind of dignity the Queen had throughout her reign.
Queen Elizabeth was talking about how members of the royal family were to conduct themselves. Where personal matters are concerned, they should be kept personal.
Kate Middleton embodies all the traits that represent the classic way to behave in the royal family. The monarchy needs strength from its members, which is considered a strength to maintain a dignified level of privacy.
Kensington Palace Made a Statement Early Friday Morning on Kate’s Behalf
Kensington Palace has made it clear that there would only be significant updates about Kate. So far, there has been nothing new to report.
However, the palace came out with this statement early Friday morning,
“From our perspective, we were very clear from our statement at the start of this in January that the Princess of Wales planned to be out of public action until after Easter, and that hasn’t changed. We were always clear we wouldn’t provide updates when there was nothing new to share. The last thing anyone wants is a running commentary on the Princess of Wales’s recovery. Nothing has changed from that approach in January.”
Buckingham Palace speaks for King Charles and Queen Camilla. They have been a bit more forthcoming about the King’s diagnosis. However, they have yet to disclose what type of cancer he has.
Not one approach is better than the other. However, it is very classy that Kate and her team have not responded to the silly and often ludicrous rumors that are rampant online.
Much speculation has also been concerning why William missed his godfather’s memorial. People were wondering if it had anything to do with Kate’s health.
We may never know, and it simply doesn’t matter. It is Kate’s choice not to share her private medical details with the world, and it’s a decision that Queen Elizabeth certainly would approve.
