Yikes, This doesn’t sound good at all. There’s a new report that says Brad Pitt allegedly choked one of his children and frightened them to no end in what can only be described as an abusive fight that happened during their infamous 2016 flight from France back to the U.S. Here’s what you need to know.
A countersuit that was filed by Angelina Jolie says that Brad apparently grabbed his wife by the head during the fight and that he “choked one of the children and struck another in the face” and “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.”

“At one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children,” the documents also claim. It also said, “To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats, injuring Jolie’s back and elbow. The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.”
If that weren’t enough, Brad apparently lunged at one of his children, prompting Angelina to grab him from behind. Amid the altercation, Mr. Pitt “choked one of the children and struck another in the face,” the suit said.
The 2016 flight has been the subject of news media reports since shortly after it occurred. However, a rep for Brad says that the claim is absolutely untrue.
The ex-couple are currently battling over Angelina’s sale of her stake in their joint French winery, Chateau Miraval. Jolie sold her half of the winery in 2021 to Tenute del Mondo, a subsidiary of Stoli Group, controlled by Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.
In a statement provided to the press, a representative for Pitt said: “(Jolie’s) story continues to evolve each time she tells it with new, unsubstantiated claims. Brad has accepted responsibility for what he did but will not for things he didn’t do. These new allegations are completely untrue.”
