Netflix’s ‘The Ripper’ is a new series coming next month that will chronicle the story of a modern-day Jack the Ripper. Between 1975-1980, the Yorkshire Ripper murdered 13 women and the police could not catch the killer. Originally believed to be just killing prostitutes, the murderer shifted his tactics and began targeting all women.

This series will show us the crimes from both perspectives and how this killer eluded the police for as long as he did. Take a look at the trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

“Investigators and witnesses recall how a modern-day Jack the Ripper terrorized the north of England during the late 1970s. For five years, between 1975 to 1980, the Yorkshire Ripper murders cast a dark shadow over the lives of women in the North of England. 13 women were dead and the police seemed incapable of catching the killer. No one felt safe – and every man was a suspect.”

Another true-crime documentary that will incapsulate viewers is on the way, and viewers are very interested in learning about this modern-era “Jack the Ripper”. “The fact that the Yorkshire ripper died a few days ago is bone-chilling. You’d expect this sort of shit to happen in the 1800s, not in our century.”, “When I saw the title “THE RIPPER” this was the only name that struck my mind: Jack The Ripper. The shame is that they haven’t found the real identity of that Whitechapel Devil till now…”, and ““He was the last person in the world…. that you’d ever suspected.” Ugh that is bone chilling.” were just come of the comments on the video.
