Netflix’s ‘Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous’ is a cartoon coming this month for kids that exists in the world of ‘Jurassic Park’. However, many viewers just didn’t think it looked like that fun of a show, or that a children’s show about non-people-eating dinosaurs would be that enjoyable. Now, with the official trailer today, Netflix has turned off the comment section.

This is something I’ve noticed a few times lately, and it’s happening more it feels like. When a good show comes on like ‘The Umbrella Academy’ or ‘Cobra Kai’ and people speak about how excited they are, that’s good. However, there’s going to show that maybe just miss the mark, and people aren’t as excited for. They should be able to express that as well. Apparently, not for Netflix.

“Six teens invited to attend a state-of-the-art adventure camp on Isla Nublar must band together to survive when the dinosaurs break out of captivity. A thrilling adventure awaits as six campers uncover the wonders and secrets of Isla Nublar. Discover the other side of the island in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, coming to Netflix September 18th!”

This isn’t the first time it has happened and it won’t be the last. When this series was first teased, it didn’t receive good reactions, but is that a bad thing? Wouldn’t you rather know what your viewers like versus what they don’t? I think it’s an odd move for the streaming company and makes us wonder why they wouldn’t want people talking about their products.

What do you think? Are you interested in the new show and why do you think they disable comments? Let us know in the comments below.
