Grace and Frankie is entering its sixth season on Netflix! The show first released in 2015 and was immediately a hit. Grace and Frankie stars the powerhouse duo of Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, as well as amazing actors Sam Waterson and Martin Sheen.
Grace and Frankie center around two women who discover that their husbands are not only work partners, but have been having a romantic relationship. The two already have a strained relationship, but try to cope with the circumstances together.
This Season of ‘Grace and Frankie’
In the trailer, it is quickly announced that Grace and Nick are newly married. This catches their ex-husbands off guard, as well as the entire room of people. Throughout the rest of the trailer, its obvious that Frankie doesn’t know how to react to her friend’s marriage either. We see her guzzling wine and eating uncontrollably. Will she be able to finally come around and accept that things change?
Unfortunately, it’s not very easy for Grace to adapt either. She appears to be struggling with keeping up with her new husband Nick, and his busy lifestyle. Things like getting dressed up for a fancy event and getting into a large vehicle. Or even the small things in life, like not being able to reach the toilet paper. Of course, she will overdramatize it a bit, otherwise, we wouldn’t have a show, but it will be interesting to see how they are both able to overcome the events.
The Shark Tank Adventure
It looks as though this will feature a mini-show of Shark Tank as well. Surely, because of Grace’s trouble with her new husband’s toilet, Grace invents a new toilet seat. Whether Frankie actually helps much with the process will be the funny part.
The device is called “The Rise Up”, and it appears to help lift a person up off the toilet. Though, there seems to be some trouble in the development as they launch a test dummy into a ceiling fan. It seems as though they will get the kinks worked out though as they walk onto the show. The ending of the trailer shows the dynamic duo standing on the stage with their creation. Will the investors buy into their subpar invention, or will this just add some more comedy and cameos to the show? We will just have to wait and see.
