Netflix has released the official trailer for their new series, ‘CURON’ today. It looks to play off the genre that has been dominating their platform, including other shows like ‘Locke & Key’, ‘Stranger Things’, and most notably, ‘Dark’. A supernatural thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat as you journey through the story with the characters in an attempt to try to understand what’s going on in the town of Curon.

According to a brief summary on the official trailer,

“Seventeen years after the tragic events that forced her to leave Curon, a woman returns home with her twin children. They soon discover that the town is cursed: when you hear the bells of the old church tower ringing, repressed feelings come back to the surface.”

The trailer looks promising and shows us a dark and frightening town that has more underneath what you see. A mother and her children will soon discover that they should never have come back to the town. She is warned by her mother that she should never have come back, and the kids hear a story about the infamous clock tower that resides there, and how sometimes you can still hear it ringing.

‘CURON’ is set to release next month, June 10 on Netflix. If you’re a fan of the supernatural genre, this is one you won’t want to miss. Especially if you’ve loved Netflix’s other series’ in this particular genre. While most English speakers may be dissuaded by the subtitles, but don’t let it take anything away from the show. Be sure to tune in next month and give it a chance.
