Netflix has really been shelling out the reality show content lately and there is a new show that will get viewers in. It’s called How to Be a Cowboy and fans of Westerns will really be drawn to this show. So what’s it all about? The star of the show, who is promised to win the hearts of viewers, is Dale Brisby. He is a professional cowboy and bull rider. He wanted to make this show as a way to train the “next generation of cowboy.” The show takes place at Radiator Ranch and Netflix promises that viewers will fall for him the way they did Joe Exotic.

It isn’t easy being a cowboy these days and Dale wants to make sure that he finds the perfect ones. He tells cameras, “The cowboy life is about tradition. We are self-reliant and answer to no one. There’s a lot to learn about our way of life, so you might as well learn from the best.” Some Netflix watchers may think this show sounds boring and old-fashioned, but the trailers show us a lot of humor, drama, and tacos!

Netflix describes the show as, “Dale Brisby uses social media savvy and rodeo skills to keep cowboy traditions alive- and now he’s teaching the world how to cowboy right.” Of course, the trailer has gotten a lot of attention on YouTube and the comments section says it all. One viewer wrote, “Hell yeah! This is gonna be an American treasure. If there’s anyone that deserves a Netflix show, it’s DB.”

Dale has been famous in the cowboy scene for years. He has always said that he wanted to be on television and now he has his own docuseries. He is a very bold character and that is one of the reasons that people are comparing him to Joe Exotic. He launched his YouTube channel back in 2013 and gained many followers to his farm that is located in Texas. He has about 304,000 subscribers and his numbers may rise after they watch How to Be a Cowboy. He describes himself as “a man of mystery” and it looks like we are about to find out more about him on the new Netflix series.

How to Be a Cowboy will begin streaming to Netflix users on September 1. You can see what Dale has in store of the wannabes and if he will find any new cowboys that can hang with him.
