NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) where on earth would we even start? But in this case I mean her insistence that her daughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) keep her baby!
Okay, I get that it’s Allie’s first child and Sami herself had an adverse first pregnancy when she was pregnant with Will and ended up keeping him but honestly, Sami wanted to keep Will.
Yes, she was scared and to the best of my knowledge she did wonder about who the Dad was for awhile (because I think his conception happened right around the time that she was raped, if I do recall correctly) but once she found out that the kid wasn’t Alan Harris’s (Paul Kersey) child, or Austin Reed’s (Patrick Muldoon) child for that matter, she wanted the kid.
It’s so totally different from Allie. Allie has made it clear that she does not want to raise this baby. She says that she has seen what it takes to raise a small child and that she’s just not ready.
That’s completely valid! But Sami, and Lucas seem bound and determined for her to keep this kid. How old is Allie, like, 21 at most, am I right?
Or maybe she’s younger. I don’t know but I got the 21-ish impression from her. Either way, Allie is trying to make a decision that’s right for her, not necessarily the same one that Sami made when she was around her age.

What I don’t get is that knowing how difficult the struggle of raising Will was, they both want Allie to keep this child. If they want her to keep it so badly then why don’t they offer to adopt it, since she doesn’t feel ready.
It doesn’t matter if these two do want to be grandparents really badly, if Allie’s not ready, then Allie’s not ready.
And it’s not like she was giving it to complete strangers, she was making arrangements for the child to go to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering)!
So it’s not like it’s anyone they didn’t know, then again, with Sami having a history with Rafe she may not want her Grandchild being raised by him. Whatever though, it’s Allie’s choice and they need to respect it.
Although I will say congratulations to Sami for managing to crash and ruin the much awaited Ericole wedding.
Come on Sammy, really, you couldn’t have waited until they were about to get on the plane for the honeymoon to cause all that drama?
At least no one would have expected Nicole to look fresh as a daisy upon getting to the airport for the honeymoon, but nope, she had to go and ruin that! Oh well, what did we expect, it’s Sami! Stay tuned!
