NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is back to cause some trouble. This time, he’s been helping his son, Evan Frears/Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly). He’s the one who’s been watching David while Evan deals with the fallout from his exposure. But there’s another Salem connection between all these characters, and it makes us wonder. Here’s what you need to know.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Old friends

Clyde Weston (James Read), Orpheus, and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) were all once in cahoots together. They pulled some epic evil, but now Xander is trying to stay on the straight and narrow for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). That leaves the other two, and their connection runs a lot deeper now. Clyde’s stepdaughter is the mother of Orpheus’ grandchild. And Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Clyde is actually the one who put Jordan Ridegway (Chrishell Hartley) in the path of her murderer. So, what’s this mean?

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Implications

We submit that Clyde Weston knew a lot more about the Jordan murder than he might let on. Again, he and Orpheus were partners in crime. They both have connections, although we gather from what we’ve read Orpheus has a lot more. We’re sure that the dirt about Jordan, Evan, and the kid found its way to him fairly soon after the murder. We think that might explain Clyde’s sudden good dad routine.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Why?

What would he do this for? Well, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate he was a horrible father—especially to Jordan. We don’t think he really cared much about her death one way or another. Given the abuse he put Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) through, we think blood is the only thing that’s making that situation different.

Actually, we think he eventually felt a bit of guilt about Ben’s situation. Not enough to clear him, of course, but just enough to try saving him via that escape and other methods. We wonder if the Baby Mickey kidnapping was just playing along with the information they gave Clyde about the case. Once things got real, we think he had a bit of a change of heart. That’s why he was pressuring Ben so hard to escape and going on about not trusting Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) to bail him out of this. He knew she was chasing a dead end. Considering all this, let’s take a look at what might happen.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The possibilities

If this is true, and Ben and Ciara find out, this will be a devastating blow to Ben. He’s actually started forming a decent bond with Clyde while in Statesville. While future spoilers say he’s soon to be free, it won’t change the feeling of betrayal he’ll experience. It’d be like Clyde abused him yet again. And we’re sure Ciara will be absolutely irate. Expect her to be ready to kill if she learns he did that.
