NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez) hasn’t had the easiest time in Salem lately. In fact, there are times where he seems over a lot of people’s you-know-what.

Like when he read Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) the riot act for keeping some secrets in the wake of Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder. Wednesday brought more fun for him, but the actor is apparently having a better time. Let’s see why.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Frustration

So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Rafe has had quite the time with this murder. Suspect after suspect keeps falling into his lap. And every time, he learns the person didn’t actually do it. That led to an awesome exchange with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). Unfortunately, the latest target is probably the toughest.

See, Rafe is convinced Belle Black (Martha Madison) didn’t do it. He even argued the point with Melinda and said her button evidence was flimsy at best and would not stand up. However, he was forced to make the arrest recently, and now? He had to do something else.

After hearing from Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), Melinda ordered Rafe to carry out a search warrant. Which led him straight to a tape where John Black (Drake Hogestyn) says Belle did it. You could tell by Rafe’s face he didn’t want to do it.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What we see

This is clearly going to drag out a while, and John is going to wish he’d listened to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and refused to have the session taped. Now, it’s more than Jan’s word on what she supposedly saw/heard. It’s a taped confession.

Which we find interesting, as this family was embroiled in a situation in the April Fool’s episode where John was about to be executed for murder. He was cleared last-minute, but Belle got put down by Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney).

So, we’re expecting this to be a real nail-biter for Belle and the family, as some of the other April Fools and Halloween episodes have put things in there hinting at the future. All we know is, Rafe is in for a lot of pain ahead.

Dealing with Melinda isn’t fun, and having to do what he did Wednesday is even worse. Expect a lot of guilt and trying to prove she’s innocent in his future. Even if Melinda doesn’t approve.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Bright side

As for Gering, he’s apparently doing much better than his TV counterpart. Recently, Gering was gushing over his son’s latest project. It’s a song called “New Kid”.

Said Gering, “Hard to believe this guy actually went back to school today! It’s wildly befitting that this song which is about being the ‘new kid’ in a new school is done. For all those of you out there that have ever experienced those deep and interesting feelings I hope this song speaks to you.”

After listening to the recording attached to the post, we have to say, he has every reason to be proud. The guitar playing was on point, and we loved the melody of the song as well as having a soft spot for the subject matter. We were the new kid a lot as well. As for his voice, we’re detecting a lot of soul and bluesy influences, and it sounds great. We’re looking forward to seeing what he does in the future.
