One thing we can say for this horrible event is, it might just change things for the better for Xarah. Sarah is impressed with Xander’s heroics on Thursday. We can only assume this means he jumps into action to protect her, as well as help others in the church.
And we have a feeling he’ll genuinely be worried about others, not scoring points. Since Sarah was already giving him a certain look before tragedy struck, we think this is the beginning to the couple reuniting. Maybe this time, it’ll stick. Xander does have a tendency to step in it when trying too hard.

Meanwhile, a sad consequence might be the loss of a child. Both Allie and Lani fear for the health of their babies July 23rd. We really hope they both come out of this all right. After seeing a couple of characters lose a baby since we started watching, we don’t want to repeat that.
Especially since one of the people in question now already lost a baby. Come on, writers. Surprise us with some good news, since you apparently don’t like weddings at all.

Finally, we have a potential new connection out of this mess. Specifically, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers tease Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) grow closer. We already had a feeling the writers were leading up to something.
The way Jake showed such genuine concern for her recently seemed a big clue. Plus, the way they started by being at each other’s throats. Plus, he wanted her to be his plus one for the wedding. Can this work? We’ll have to wait and see.
