Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Kristian Alfonso, who plays Hope Brady and Princess Gina on the hit NBC soap, admits that while it’s high time for Hope Brady to come back home, it’s Princess Gina who is adamant about staying! No matter what happens, Princess Gina wants to keep living the life she’s so far led, despite the fact that she’s been causing chaos at every turn.

However, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers tease that the surgery will take place as scheduled and the chip will be taken out of Hope’s brain. When Hope wakes up, she’s confused about where she is, what just happened, and what is going on in general.
Kristian further explains, “Everything is just very muddled. She is so happy to see her dad and starts putting pieces together and asking questions. And then little by little, things start coming together and she finally has the realization that Rolf had done something to her in the lab. And then it’s ‘Oh my God, I was Princess Gina.’”
If that weren’t enough, Hope also learns that it was Princess Gina that pushed her cousin Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) off the balcony. For Hope, it’s as if someone stabbed her in the heart with this devastating news. Kristian continues, “The guilt that Hope carries is tremendous. It’s her family. It’s her life. People that she would take a bullet for, literally, in turn, tried to kill for her own self-interest.”
