NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers is saying that poor Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) she’s been left on this earth without her one true love and he is not coming back any time soon, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) died of a brain tumor in 2016, tragically and he is sorely missed by everyone. Hope’s dynamic with anyone romantically really hasn’t been the same since. I guess you some could argue that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and maybe Ted Laurent (Giles Marini) had good chemistry with her, but Rafe has moved on and Ted is deader than a doornail. Let’s face it, there is no one that will ever have chemistry with her like Bo Brady.

NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Dr. Rolf Has Probably Distilled Everyone’s Essence
But since Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) is in the business of bringing people back from the dead, why don’t we just put the essence of Bo Brady into another guy? I mean, we know Dr. Rolf has it in his lab somewhere. I’m pretty sure he’s bottled everyone’s essence so he has Eau de Salem somewhere in a lab space because as we’ve witnessed, Dr. Rolf has a real problem with letting go of people from his past. (I mean think about this from a psychological POV for just a second, he literally cannot let anyone go.) Even though they never really liked each other, if Dr. Rolf had a greater goal in mind, like say, manipulating Hope, then this could be arranged.

But let’s try it differently this time. Let’s say that Dr. Rolf finds a random John Doe who is… shall we say… already deceased (or at least technically brain dead), so there would be none of this pesky implanting one soul on top of another and no one’s family could come at him and say that he’s actually their brother/son/cousin/husband, etc. If the guy were already dead, then Rolf could implant the essence, make the transfer, and have Eau de Bo Brady in no time, and all because he wanted to manipulate Hope. Why would he want to manipulate Hope? Well, he turned her into Princess Gina before and we still don’t actually know the reason behind that. So the reasons could still be a mystery and it would still be just as valid.

Who would I recast as Bo Brady? Honestly, I did like Robert Kelker Kelly’s version of Bo back in the day, he and Kristian Alfonso had pretty good chemistry back when there was a Days of Our Lives Primetime movie, and does anyone remember how he told that guy that he was Hope’s Parole officer when she went hitchhiking? Maybe it’s just me that remembers that scene, but it was comedy gold. Also it’d be fun to see just what Bo Brady would think of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) dating his daughter, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), I’m pretty sure he would have some things to say about that. (The song ‘Cleaning this gun’ comes to mind, but you know, that could just be my first impression.) Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re going to see the likes of Bo Brady ever again. More’s the pity.
