The Coroner’s office has come out released a cause of death for Gabby Petito – strangulation. There is no more room for speculation on cause of death, the cause was outright murder, we just don’t know who yet, but we’re hedging our bets.
Nancy Grace, in an interview with Fox News, said that she was amazed, considering the state that her body was found in, that they could even find a cause of death, but she was relieved that it could be determined. Now all they need to do is locate Laundrie, and the family can finally start to heal when they know the entire story.

Grace also said that due to the condition that her body was found in, it may be impossible to get an exact death date, but if they can get a 3-4 day window of Laundrie at the same place where they found her and when he was last seen alive, that they will probably have their man.
This is why its safe to say that Laundrie’s running and possibly being helped by someone. It’s speculated that there is a family lawyer involved and he’s communicating with his family via attorney client privelege, and that is why their lawyer has advised them not to talk about Brian to anyone, but no one knows for sure right now, and as long as the attorney or family don’t do anything to actually impede the case, then they are off the hook.
Grace said that in the video, she wondered if Laundrie had ever strangled her before because she was showing signs of someone who had been strangled before, by tilting her head down towards her collarbone and shielding her neck with her hand.
She said it was a classic position of someone who had been strangled before and this was the Police video where they were stopped for a domestic dispute, witnesses said that they had already seen Brian slap Gabby but none described any choking, but perhaps that was a special kind of hell that only Gabby knew about.
Now that we know the cause of death, this only further implicates Laundrie in her death even further, especially since he hasn’t come forward and appears to be on the run from not only the police but the FBI as well.
If Laundrie wants to actually clear his name and take some of the heat off his family now would be the time to do it, but if he had been thinking of anyone other than himself he would have owned up by now and there wouldn’t be a nationwide manhunt going on. We do hope that Laundrie is found soon so that Gabby and her family can get justice. Stay tuned!
