In the third season of My 600-Lb Life, we were introduced to Bettie Jo Elmore. Much like most of the cast members on the show, Bettie Jo needed Dr. Now’s help in order to lose the extra weight that she had been carrying for years.
She felt it was time to get her life and health back in order and this was the way to do it. Since her time on the show, she has gone through so many changes and her fans want to know what she has been up to since appearing on the show.

When Bettie Jo appeared on the show, she was 24 years old and weighed in at 654 pounds. We were also introduced to her boyfriend, Josh and at the time, they had been going through some rough patches in their relationship.

No matter what Bettie Jo went through, she had the motivation to lose weight and she ended up marrying Josh, having gastric bypass surgery, and losing over 200 pounds! Bettie Jo and Josh recently celebrated their ten years of marriage!
With all of this good news, Bettie Jo is still working on maintaining this weight loss and enjoying her life with Josh. She has been very active on social media and has hinted that she will get excess skin surgery very soon. Bettie Jo now has two sons, Preston Elmore and Olive Elmore. She has over 10K followers on her Instagram account.
When fans look back on her story, they saw her go through so much, and from the looks of it, she has completely beaten the odds. She had some serious trauma that she was able to get through and she was able to lose the weight that had been a burden most of her life.
She found the motivation to build a better life for herself and she has been sharing it with her fans ever since. She seems a lot more mature these days and has been trying to raise her family, along with Josh.
