Miley Cyrus has been granted a three-year restraining order against a crazed stalker who Miley says has a “dangerous obsession” with her.
A Dangerous Obsession
The man in question is 52-year-old Alexander Kardalian. Kardalian was locked up in San Quentin State Prison until August 2023. The man was released and promptly arrived at her house.
The man made several attempts to get money from the “Wrecking Ball” singer. He also made comments to her of a sexual nature. Kardalian had been sending her mentally unhinged letters.
He told Miley that if she didn’t respond to his advances, he would commit suicide. He sent her a letter informing her that he would be coming to visit her residence.
When the man appeared, Miley’s security guards called the LAPD to escort him off the property. Kardalian was not taken in because he didn’t technically break into Miley’s property.
The authorities conducted a background check on the man and found he had a violent criminal history. He was accused of arson, carjacking, robbery, and other charges.
This person is said to have serious mental issues and a dangerous fixation with Miley. The judge decided to grant Cyrus protection. The restraining order will last until October 2026.
The hitmaker has been receiving letters from Kardalian since 2018. The man has demonstrated irrational and odd behavior, which includes using Miley’s address for health insurance.
Miley Cyrus Has Been Stalked Several Times by Different Men
Strangely enough, this is not the first time Miley Cyrus has been targeted and stalked by a male predator. Her first stalker as a celebrity came around in 2009. Mark McLeod was charged with stalking Miley Cyrus when she was just a teenager.
McLeod was another man with mental issues, as he claimed to be engaged to marry Miley, and she sent him secret messages through her TV show.
McLeod had a previous arrest in 2003 when he transported a female minor across the Georgia-South Carolina state line.
Miley tends to attract a wide variety of stalkers. She also had a stalker in 2012. An intruder jumped over Miley’s fence and banged on her front door.
Hiding in the bushes at Miley’s home, Jason Luis Rivera was waiting for her. He had a pair of scissors in his possession and was sporting a giant pink heart hanging around his neck.
When questioned, the man replied,
“I am friends with Miley Cyrus. I am. She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years.”
Another stalker was after Miley in 2019. David Rumsey showed up at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, where Miley performed. He claimed,
“It’s my life’s mission to impregnate Miley.”
Not surprisingly, Rumsey also had mental issues. He said he wanted to bring Michael Jackson, Prince, and Tupac back from the dead and have a party with Cyrus.
Miley’s 2019 stalker left her a bizarre social media message in which he said,
“ I know soon I will be partying it up with all the famous people, but you’re the one I want to talk to.”
Apparently, Miley Cyrus attracts men of the strangest persuasion. Hopefully, her security is quality so she can avoid this insanity in the future!
