It appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have gained a significant ally in the United Kingdom while they are in conflict with the Royal Family.
Mike Tindall’s Friend James Haskell Defends Harry And Meghan-‘I Speak To Him Every Night’
The couple may not have the biggest support in the UK, which was shown when they were booed as they exited St Paul’s Cathedral during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Not only that, but public opinion over the couple has decreased following the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare.
While that may have been the case, it seems that former rugby player James Haskell is a fan. Haskell commented that Harry and Meghan are excellent parents to their children, Archie and Lilibet. The Daily Mail reported that Haskell and the prince often converse each evening, exchanging advice regarding parenting.
In his comments, Haskell said: “I ended up inadvertently being a big defender of his recently. I speak to him every night every now and again. We’re just sort of comparing notes about kids always being ill.” Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following.
Haskell is also on very good terms with none other than Mike Tindall. And given that the latter works with Haskell, coupled with the fact that he is a member of the Royal Family after having married Zara Tindall, people could have been forgiven for thinking that Haskell may have been biased in his opinion.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. One person wrote: “Interesting, isn’t he best buddies with Mike Tindall,” while another person stated: “Wonder what Mike thinks of this.
“Personally I think Mike isn’t a fan of H’s even more so now with what he’s been doing & saying especially about her late majesty & the princess royal.” The more allies the Sussexes have, then the better it is for their brand moving forward.
