British Royal Family News says that should Meghan Markle get pregnant this year, it will be a royal protocol disaster for Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family back in London. Here’s what you need to know.
If there’s one thing that we’ve learned about Meghan Markle over the years, it’s that she is certainly someone who does understand and respect tradition, but at the same time likes to do things her way, anyway.
That might be one of the reasons why she and Prince Harry decided to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in January, much to the dismay of Queen Elizabeth.

Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled in to their new lives in Los Angeles, and have even bought a house in Montecito, there is much speculation on whether or not the royal couple will begin work on expanding their family.
Should the Duchess of Sussex get pregnant and should she decide to give birth to the couple’s child in Los Angeles, it would be a logistics mess for the Queen and the other royals back at home.
That’s because the baby will still technically be a member of the royal family and will also be expected that he or she have the same traditional christening as the other young members of the monarchy, too.
However, should Meghan Markle decide to do things her way and keep the baby in Los Angeles, it would give Queen Elizabeth a cause for concern.
Seeing how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not on good terms with a lot of members of the royal family – including Prince William and Kate Middleton – going back to London would also make things rather awkward as well.
This, along with several more reasons, might be why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are postponing any of their pregnancy plans for now.
