Her US staff has said Meghan Markle “marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders.” A new report by the US publication, “The Hollywood Reporter,” claims that Meghan has been dubbed “Duchess Difficult” by her employees.
An inside source also claims that Meghan has been known to “reduce grown men to tears.” Another source said she “belittles people and doesn’t take advice.”
Prince Harry Enables Meghan Markle And Her Narcissistic Behavior
Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, is said to be “a very, very charming person, and yet very much an enabler.” None of this is a surprise, as Meghan was also alleged of bullying the palace staff when she was a working royal in the UK.
Several palace staffers quit when Harry and Meghan were still living there. At least ten staffers came forward to reveal Meghan’s abusive behavior.
Meghan Markle was also said to have singled out certain Buckingham Palace staff members and would set out to undermine their self-confidence, picking on them until they finally quit.
The palace launched an investigation into claims of Meghan’s abusive behavior toward staff. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have consistently denied any bullying allegations.
Royal expert Hugo Vickers explained,
“There was a time when she was incredibly rude to one of the sub-gardeners, and the head gardener complained to the Queen, and she drove down to Adelaide Cottage and ticked her off.”
“There’s a lot of evidence they can’t keep hold of staff,”
he continued.
“That is a very, very bad sign because some people inspire huge loyalty, like the late Prince Phillip, for example.”
It has been alleged that Harry and Meghan’s staff were traumatized by the Duchess’s vicious nature, with many people left in tears, and for many, it became so intolerable that they had to leave their positions.
Meghan’s “angry 5 a.m. emails” and “noisy tantrums” are infamous among her staff, earning her the not-so-affectionate nickname “Duchess Difficult.”
Something Is Wrong With The Sussexes
At least eighteen Harry and Meghan’s Archewell staff members have quit since 2018. Nine or more of their team have left since Harry and Meghan fled the UK in January 2020.
It was reported last month that the couple’s chief of staff, Josh Kettler, left his role after a short time. The Sussexes’ “revolving door of employees” demonstrates poor management and lack of people skills.
Despite having interviewed several candidates, Meghan has also failed to secure a chief executive for her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. No one wants to work with her.
The sources also said that Meghan is
“Absolutely relentless toward her employees.”
Harry and Meghan’s lawyers have described the bullying allegations as a
“Calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful information.”
Harry also denied bullying in his tell-all memoir, Spare. In the book, he claimed that he and Meghan would try to give “constructive criticism,” which was seen as an attack or an insult toward the person.
Royal correspondent Helena Chard commented,
“A revolving door of staff seems to be the norm for Harry and Meghan. Sometimes introducing new staff to a team can keep ideas alive, but this is an unusually high turnover of staff and highlights that something is wrong.”
