Fresh material from Meghan Markle’s defunct lifestyle blog has been discovered, which goes against her assertions that she had minimal knowledge about Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle’s Blog Post Resurfaces As Oprah Winfrey Claims Are Exposed
From 2014 to 2017, Meghan was a part of the American TV show Suits and ran a lifestyle blog called The Tig. This blog had a combination of fashion and lifestyle advice, plus conversations with renowned figures. Recently, an article from 2015 has been rediscovered in which Meghan spoke with the British actress and model, Liz Hurley.
At that time, Hurley was acting in a humorous show called The Royals, which parodied the Windsor family. Hurley portrayed a character that was partly inspired by the late Princess Diana. But more recently, Hurley was the name linked to the older woman who had taken Harry’s virginity before Sasha Walpole came out to confirm that it was her.Â
And yet, Hurley left a positive impression on Meghan. In her blog post at the time, she wrote: “I have always loved everything about Liz Hurley, and when I realized she was going to be debuting on a new show, The Royals, I had to reach out to her.”
Nevertheless, those comments go against the narrative that she had stated in her controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. During the course of that process, she made it clear in no uncertain terms that she did not have a lot of knowledge about the firm, which may have explained why she struggled to settle in.
In some prior comments, she remarked: “It wasn’t part of something that was part of conversation at home. It wasn’t something that we followed. I didn’t do any research. I’d never looked up my husband online – everything I needed to know, he was telling me.”
