British Royal Family News: Meghan Markle’s Black Lives Matter Speech Was Without Notes
According to Newsweek, one source close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said that while Meghan certainly did prepare for her speech, she also went off script several times. The tipster said, “As you can probably tell, it’s pretty raw and she spoke without notes. But she’s been having lots of conversations about the issue before filming. Harry and Meghan have been having private conversations with community leaders and people at every level, to ensure that they understand current events.”
The source added, “This is something that is incredibly personal to Meghan, especially given everything she has experienced. And as a couple, it is, of course, very important. They are both feeling it, just like the rest of us.”
There are also additional reports that suggest Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want their son Archie Harrison involved in future Black Live Matters movements and conversations as well. While Harry and Meghan haven’t revealed any specific details about what they plan on doing next, there’s a good chance that it might be tied to their charitable foundation, Archewell.
