Meghan Markle hopes to rake in a fortune selling dog treats and chicken feed for her American Riviera Orchard Lifestyle brand.
Meghan Markle Will Sell Dog Food and Treats and Chicken Feed
Many people are surprised to learn that the Duchess is including pet-related products. She is excited to use her brand to represent our four-legged and fine-feathered friends.
Meghan filed papers to trademark the initials of her new brand and to sell chicken feed and pet treats.
The publication shows that the brand has trademarked Meghan’s pet food, treats, and birdseed. It is interesting because Kate Middelton’s brother, James Middelton, has his dog food brand, Hello Ella, after his beloved Cocker Spaniel, who helped him overcome his depression.
Meghan’s trademark application also seems to include a shop where these items will be sold. Meghan may know a thing or two about pet food, as Prince Harry and Meghan have adorable pups and chickens of their own to feed.
They have two rescue beagles, one named Guy and another named Mamma Mia. They also have a black labrador named Pula.
Pula was the first dog Prince Harry and Meghan Markle adopted as a couple. Guy factored into the duo’s love story. Meghan moved her dog to the UK to show her commitment to Harry. So he knew she would say yes when he proposed.
Mamma Mia was one of 4,000 beagles who were rescued from a breeding site for animal testing. The pups would have been used for research, but fortunately, they were saved.
Meghan has a rescue chicken named Sinkie, who used to belong to Ellen DeGeneres but now lives in a chicken coop with the Sussexes.
Meghan Has An Odd List of Items She Will Sell
Sinkie had to be rehomed because Ellen’s chickens were bullying her, and the Duke and Duchess were happy to take her in.
We wonder if Harry and Meghan will feed their dogs and chickens, her new pet food brand. It must be noted that some other odd items are on the list of Meghan’s products she will sell, and the list is growing.
The new items include calligraphy pens, craft beads, photo albums, picture frames, wine bags, cocktail napkins, diaries, gift wraps, paper tape, and ketchup.
The cookware and the home décor make sense. She wants to be the next Martha Stewart. But she’s verging on excess with these strange choices.
When you hear Meghan Markle, do you think of paper tape and ketchup? Although she has a lifestyle brand, she will likely sell these ordinary, everyday items at a lofty price.
As part of her “Martha Stewart” product line, she will sell fruit jams, recipe books, flower pots, home décor, and similar products.
Meghan has many plans. Like Joanna Gaines, she’s set to film a cooking series for Netflix and revive her lifestyle blog, The Tig.
She will also sell makeup, bath soap, body lotions and creams, fragrances, and whatever else she can market to death.
Meghan seems to have her hand in anything and everything, and it looks like a venture she threw together simply for commercial gain.
