Meghan Markle has denied claims that she had bullied a member of the Royal staff during her time in the UK and believes this is nothing but an unjustified attack.

So how did Meghan and Prince Harry take to this story breaking out? Well, as could be expected, not very well. Insiders for the duo claimed that the couple believes this to be an attack on their reputation in response to their decision to leave the Royal family and start a new life overseas.
A member on behalf of the couple said: “Let’s just call this what it is — a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation. We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of The Duchess of Sussex given credibility by a media outlet.
“It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining The Duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and The Duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”
The accusations, in question, involved two former personal assistants who felt that they could no longer work under Meghan and were even reportedly driven to tears. In an official statement on behalf of Meghan, she denied the claims and hit back at what she perceived to be unfounded rumours.
It said: “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma. [Meghan] is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”
This latest news would echo Harry’s earlier comments in which he stressed that he was worried about the impact of press intrusion on his health. During a previous interview with James Corden on the Late Late Show, Harry said: “It was never walking away. It was stepping back rather than stepping down. It was a really difficult environment as I think a lot of people saw. It was destroying my mental health.”
