Megan Fox has revealed how motherhood prevented her life from spiralling out of control during the height of her career in Hollywood.

The actress, who has previously spoken on the objectification she has suffered at the hands of Hollywood directors, is a mother to three children: Noah, Bodhi and Journey. While that does bring with it some new challenges, Megan would not have changed it for the world.
She admitted how the children allowed her to take a step back and focus on something that was much more important. In an interview with The Washington Post, Megan said: “That [kids] kind of saved me honestly. I needed an escape…It’s fertile soil. It’s given me the ground the I needed to grow into something quite special.”
Her life could not be in a much better place. She is happily dating musician Machine Gun Kelly, and by the looks of it, their relationship could not be going any better. This has allowed Megan to come to terms with her prior demons, and ultimately it has aided her career.
She expressed regret towards the mass disconnect that the public has with her personality. Megan admitted how she is often judged by her looks, as opposed to her intelligence, which often does not get enough credit. Although she did confirm that this was partly due to the fact that she had taken on acting roles that portrayed her in a sexual manner, it still did leave a bitter taste in the mouth.
She stated: “I think there has been a pervasive perception of me as a shallow succubus…for at least the first decade of my career. That started to change more recently as people revisited some of my interviews.” Despite her coming a long way, Megan felt that she did not get the credit she deserved for her acting skills.
But given how she has been able to stay relevant in a career that has been for over a decade, she should still be praised. After all, she has done what few other have been able to do: successfully cross over into the acting and modelling world.
